Shipping and Handling Time
We generally try to process all orders within 1-3 business days. Since it is just the two of us, there are rare occasions where orders may take a day or two longer due to illness or travel. Orders with left-handed dust covers may take up to 5 days to process since we make all left-handed covers to order.
Backorders
Generally, we will pull items from inventory and they will not be able to be ordered if we are sold out. On rare occasions we will allow backorders if we are expecting new inventory within 2 weeks or so. If an order contains a backordered item, the entire order will ship together once the backordered item(s) arrive. We would be happy to ship the in-stock part of the order first, on request. There will be no additional shipping charge to do so, just shoot us an email with your order number and the request.
Why are your flags so expensive?
We know, they’re really expensive. People have been asking us to make flags of the Defend Equality design since we created it over 4 years ago, and we never had (and still don’t have) the tech to make them in-house. We waffled for a long time on how best to go about sourcing them while still trying to maintain as ethical a standard as possible with our supply chain.
The fact is, if you search for leftist flags on Etsy (or flags on the internet at large), they are almost exclusively made overseas in factories with abhorrent worker protections. But, on the flip side, the flag costs $15.
We tried quite hard to source a domestic union manufacturer, and the production cost for our flags would have been even higher than what we currently retail ours for. We ended up splitting the difference and going with a domestic non-union shop. We also had to buy them in huge (for us) quantities (100+) to get volume discounts, which means we need to invest a substantial amount of money to fund the production run versus doing a GoFundMe or something.
I wish we were able to offer these at a cheaper price, but we refused to work with a sweatshop to make them. For what its worth, these flags are about twice as thick and the ink is extremely well saturated versus a lot of cheaper flags.
Can you make me a custom patch?
Unfortunately, we can’t make one-off custom patches.
We don’t make them in-house, and due to the nature of how PVC patches are created, they can’t be modified. For every new patch we have to invest several hundred dollars into the initial minimum 100 patch run and associated mold-making cost, which limits what we can make. We will definitely add your request to the list of future considerations, as most of our patches are driven by people requesting them!

Can you print custom stickers/engrave a lighter or dust cover?
Probably! We don’t typically do one-off stickers or engraving, but we have incredibly low minimums and are happy to work with like-minded artists, organizations, and businesses to make something happen.

Returns
Returns
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused.
To start a return, please contact us at offcolordecals@gmail.com. If your return is accepted we’ll email you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
We cannot accept returns of custom-order items for reasons that are unrelated to material defects. A proof will be supplied for all custom orders that must be approved by the buyer before we move the order to production. Once we have an approved proof, changes cannot be made to the order.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Cancellations
Cancellations may be initiated via our website or via emailing us at offcolordecals@gmail.com. Cancellations will only be approved if we have not yet shipped your merchandise. There is no restocking fee or other fee for a cancellation and the full purchase price will be processed by us within 7 business days (your bank may take longer to reflect the refund to your original payment method).
